*smacks own head* THAT MUST BE IT! the ps3 must have been ment to be frozen like i see it often at all 3 bestbuys in my area, and my wal-mart.....IT Must be ment to sit in its lil case, and though the ps3 has this lil light behind the power button on the front, and the SONY LCD screen is on, All you see is a frozen picture of MOTORSTORM! that must be it!

EA does this all the time, expect Ubi to be disbanded all its good games harvested and all the staff fired....cause thats what EA does.

The simple fact is sony has a history of puting alot of useless stuff in they're machines and then phasing it out later.
Ps1
Expansion port, never used by any company except cheat devices, And imports, Phased out within 3 years.
Link Port:used by about 30-40 games, phased out within 3 years.
Ps2:Ilink, Used by 3 companies phased out in 2 years
Hard drive: used by 2-4 games in the US (in japan like 60 games used it) phased out ...
DO you know how many ps3's i've seen frozen in the display? not only is your Title wrong, THEY AREN"T ADVERTISING IT its a display model and thats it.
"Advertising" I.E puting it in a coupon,magazine,tv ad....ect
"Console Display" I.E: puting it on display for the use of the consumer to test out at the store...
See 2 completely different things.
Because strictly speaking a single core at high power is better then a multicore at singular functions.
Playing a single game and doing nothing else on ur computer is best with a single core, Because the game isn't made to take advantage of those multiple cores.
Now if your programs and games take advantage then of course multi cores is better then single high powered cores, but hardly any thing supports em, Even when you do have a multicore and you set programs ...
If i hadn't won my ps3 i wouldn't have one, Because strictly speaking there is not a single game im majorly interested in till 2008, and 600 dollars is just way to much money (I wouldn't buy the 60 gig if i buy something then i buy the best)
If i had no ps3 i would have waited till next year when sony was forced and still will be forced to lower it to super low prices...like lower it 150 bux.
why buy a blu ray player over the ps3 EVER? well faster read speeds in the future something the ps3 cant do unless they offer upgraded blu ray drives in the future which will piss off every ps3 owner before that.
Smaller form factors, all around hardware updates that cant be done through firmware....
As for that I predicted blu ray would outsell hd dvd, and the LET is right, Without ps3 blu ray would have died long ago, Compared to stand alone hd dvd sales and bl...
which is why by next year sony will have released ANOTHER ps3 sku without the memory card readers...ect
Cause like every single port they had on ps1 and 2 they eventually phased out cause they weren't used. Link port, and expansion port on ps1, ilink cable, hard drive...ect port's phased out of the ps2...

@lord anubis yes true but i've yet to find another movie in the blu ray arena besides casion royal to breach the 100k mark.
most of the high sellers in the top 10 right now are on both formats. as well at the time of the casino royal 100k sales they said only 50% had reached users. so in essence. 100k we're SHipped. *just pointing it out*

you do understand the 60 gig is sold out I.E its sold out because sony no longer makes the 60 gig, they are phasing it out...this isn't a win for sony right u do know that? this is sony clearing out a system by dropping its price even though they didn't want too but felt they could only phase it out and bolster their user base by doing it...

Ok I was wrong, I read the review wrong, and the blu ray version gets the better audio count cause of the uncompressed PCM my bad.
lets hope. I purchased the HD DVD/dvd combo...thought i cant even take advantage of TRUE dolby, or the uncompressed PCM since my receiver supports neither.
its probly true, but they better make it next year or longer or they'll piss off alot of early adopters.
you have the fact the hd dvd version had content the blu ray version didn't and got better reviews because of video quality and content over the blu ray version...
then you have the sheer amount of blu ray (ps3s) players out there...so who knows who had the most. I'm banking on blu ray.
cause with the new chat board hook up for the controller, and the fact you can hook up a keyboard to the 360 any ways, it makes for a very friendly enviorment for RTS, and MMO games, MMO's because you'll be able to do hotkeys with the keyboard or lil chat board, and if not you can get voice over for chat:) so seems to me 360 will be introducing all these great new things to the console world.
that sucked......badly, the banned finger gun fight for 360 was much better....i couldn't even tell what that advertisment i just watched was trying to sell me...a naked dude in a bathtub maybe?
