I completed RDR 2 4 times since it released. I did it with the save option and I can push pause when I need to. Damn you Dark Souls 3! I have died so many times because I had to run an errand.
I know people are different, but the time excuse doesn't makes sense to me personally. I find time to do the things I enjoy even if it means a bit less sleep. Personally, I think excitement dies a bit when doing something for a long time. I quit gaming for roughly 15 years or so...
If the devs support shady schemes, they are at fault. If they are just mindless cattle being rustled up for the slaughter house to make Mr. Ranch owner some money, they are not at fault.
What I am trying to say is none of us really know, but being human and having bad days doesn't excuse shitty actions on either side.
