Well this is actually a virtual machine unlike Wine so there will be much more resources used to emulate a machine and run another whole copy of windows rather than how Wine simply 'translates' programs.

Also, my guess is that you'll need to own a copy of the Windows you're wanting to run under it.

They should be working on building compatibility into the OS instead of just releasing a virtual machine solution. Windows 7 is already looking to be a good OS that everyo...

I know Linux can do win32 applications via WINE (Wine Is Not an Emulator) but as far as Windows running Linux apps...yah through that out the window. Good thing throw is that if a Linux app gets really popular it gets ported over to Windows, or there is a viable alternative.

Bah, that’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard. Compatability with Vista and older programs is very VERY good despite what people keep saying, I’ve never had any problems….Except with DOS apps….and even those work flawlessly on 32bit Vista. Adding an emulator to run other simple programs is such a waste of horsepower.
