I know. Someone else posted this story, but it was just a link to Youtube and in their links they had Ps3 & Xbox 360, I told him that was inaccurate to which he said 'the release date hasn't been announced'
release date? The entire release hasn't been announced, it says "ON STEAM" at the end of the video, nothing else is mentioned and Paydays history with console DLC is sketchy at best.
I just at this point want either more free DLC's - which is a bit selfish yea, but I've paid alot at this point so I don't think that's unfair

A season pass. They've still got something like 10 months to make more DLC? Because they got funded like $6M to make DLC for 20 months a long time back at this point.

The whole Sarkeesian & Quinn thing is toxic, I much prefer to point out and sing the praises of women in gaming who are awesome like Pratchett.

Why would it involve the story telling elements? This is Overkill, they're known for good co-op based games, not story driven, broad option gaming like TellTale.
I think TellTale sated the storytellers among gamers, now we want something we can truly be tested in, and so far there has been no good action WD game. This is it's chance.
Yea I just got finished playing right now.
The infamy does make it feel fresh, you grind near 90 and then zoom through the low infamy stages, but they've not finished that off yet so hopefully that'll be in their crimfest bundle.
Looking toward this game though, it my heart I see it as a Left For Dead 3 replacement for now and I hope it lives up to that personal image.
It is but CrimeFest might not actually apply to PS4 & X1 so I didn't feel comfortable adding those channels to this article.
Some of it will arrive probably - free DLC, masks etc. But Overkill are being slow on Console DLC's, this might be fought with the CrimeWave Editions (just package the DLC with the base game) - but other things in CrimeFest won't make the Consoles e.g. Free Payday The Heist, that's soley PC I believe so console owners won't prosp...

Do you mean support the devs that make it work? Or do you mean that companies like inXile are also doomed?
Because if the first then yea they are one of the few devs able to do this but that's because they're a B-team developer making good games with years of experience.
Most of the other devs aren't able to do what they do and it's not in their best interest in teh long run to do it as per some of my points in the article.
I enjoy mounting my friends in both the real & virtual worlds... sadly only this stuff is appropriate for N4G however
