If my controller breaks then I might consider it but I wouldn't be in any rush to get something like this. Haptics are game changing when used properly but I can live without it too.
I can't believe I didn't know this was an option. Thank you.
I love haptic in FPS but in something like Stray I find it distracting as it only pops up in very few scenarios.
“All We Had To Do Was Follow The D-mn catnip, C.J.!”
I tried but couldn't get into Prey. Loved Deathloop so decided to try Dishonoured. It's an amazing achievement in level design. I think whatever the team do next (in the single player space) will be just as amazing.
I'd take a Dishonoured or Deathloop sequel for sure!
This is an incredibly well put together response, and I very much agree with you. The praise in this article feels plagiarised from other reviews as they appear less articulate when describing what is wrong with the game.
Stray isn't perfect but for me it definitely deserves the high scores its getting. Its a great 'summer' game that you can play in the evenings when its cooled down. Not too difficult, just an amazing journey.
Disappointed that its missing game mechanics that part 2 added.
Still getting it but not at full price. Will wait for sale.
Vote with your wallets.
I feel the same.
I thought the adding of jump, dodge and prone was the reason they removed factions but so far it looks like that's not even included so I am even more baffled by the decision to remove content and charge more.
I get what this article is saying but, I found Spider-man and Horizon Forbidden West easy to platinum. Does that mean they are not worth it?
They were fun to work towards. I've no time for platinum's that make you do crazy stuff like collect 100 of a specific item that's hidden all over the map.
I prefer it when its part of the exploration of the game like completing side quests, upgrading gear, finishing the story etc.
Not sure if hidden gems or just games that passed me by when they originally launched.
A Plague Tale: Innocence (this was free with plus ages ago so you might have it in your library already)
Disco Elysium – The Final Cut
Dishonored® Definitive Edition (loved deathloop so went back to their earlier stuff)
Fahrenheit
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD
Owlboy
Re...
I think you are exactly right, especially about the updated version for next gen. I still have hope that the new GTA will be one of the best games of the generation but it will have a heavy focus on the online section which the previous game didn't even launch with.
I know alot of the OG's have gone but talent comes and goes. The team that worked on RDR2 did a great job on the single player so fingers crossed that continues with the next GTA.
Any form of competition that benefits the consumer is a good thing
Isn't there two drops a month? So in two weeks time they may add to the premium benefits, if not then wow what a poor start for that tier.
For me it's:
The Last Of Us Part 1 | September 2nd, 2022 (this is the only one I'm on the fence about)
A Plague Tale: Requiem | October 18th, 2022
God Of War Ragnarok | November 9th, 2022
The Callisto Protocol | December 2nd, 2022
They look so good, I'd get one if I had space...and money.
They used to sponsor a Youtube channel I like so I got the game to support them and the developers.
Amazing to see a company still supporting this game a delighted its paid off for them.
Very interesting take but I can't help but feel there isn't really a place for it anymore. Maybe making it a month long online event ending in a trade show for the heavy hitters like Nintendo, xbox and PS but they all do directs now whenever it suits them and they get alot of traffic from that.
I miss the days of seeing what each company had to offer, especially when it came to hardware reveals.
For me, this news would be a lot harder to take if Ragnarok didn't just get an early November release date.
Stray is top of my list
Oh wow that looks great, especially when you consider how horrific our first look at the PS5 dev kit was
I don't understand the hate this monitor and its price keep getting. I'm told for it's features it's the best price in it's class. If I could afford it I'd buy it day one.
Are there any 4k monitors with full array local dimming, 2 hdmi 2.1 ports, DisplayHDR 600 Certified and 144Hz refresh rate then please let me know as I am in the market for a monitor of the same spec at a lower price.
