Exclusives....thats it. With the exception of wii exclusives have won console wars. The wii with a combination of price point and gimmicks. Sony and MS proved that when they copied tje gimmick.

The problem with Capcom's sales seems to be that their fans are so apprehensive about buying games NOT made by Japanese developers. Sadly a lot of those games were not that bad, but you can't seem to get that point across to some people.

If you look at the bottom right hand corner at the end of the trailer they have their mark there....it will be ported perhaps with a different name later on down the line. SEGA may even own the IP to be honest. Timed exclusive.
You people do realize this game is about as exclusive as Ninja Gaiden was on Xbox 360....6 months to a year it will be ported to the other machines....more than likely with more content thats how "exclusives" work now. lol
They have learned what Nintendo learned, when you make something with minimal effort and people buy it and crown you the best for it, why try. Gamers have been setting themselves up for years with this and now it has finally come to full fruition.
All this tells me is that companies like OUYA need to be supported. When your BEST two companies(MS,NINTENDO) get a hold of the idea that it's cheaper and more profitable to mkae casual games 75-90% percent of the time and sprinkle hardcore stuff in as annoyingly as possible and with little innovation at that. Then the last bastion of hope is indie games and SONY, I honestly don't know how long the latter will be able to hold on but I hope they will be more successful going forward.
At least 4 or 5 really good ones actually. Skyrim, The Witcher 2, Civ V: Gods and Kings, DOTA 2, Borderlands 2(will allow it I beleive). There are still really good games that have them. Not really a great excuse.
I wouldn't care if they don't release mod tools. I just wish they didn't feed people horse shit excuses about why it's not happening. Yes they are within their rights to not release tools. Yes, It makes smart business sense, due merely to the sales you generate from map/expansion packs. Yes games(myself included ) will flock to the series regardless and give them their money.
