I too at first said this game is probably not for me and as time went on and the more details I read and vids I seen I have now had this pre-ordered from amazon with release date delivery and am looking forward to getting this next week. Come to think of it I don't own not one single western type game yet have always wanted one and this game looks freakin awesome and the wait is almost over!
The last kart game I played had to be on SNES with mario and I had so much fun with those games so it's going to take a lot for me to not buy this. First glance I shrugged this game off but after watching a ton of vids on YT I can't help but buy it. I'm so pumped for this and RDR and they come out 1 week a part so I'm going to have a blast for the next few months, heck I put 60 hours into RoF and never finished it OR FFXIII OR Nier haha. ^_^; Too many games too many!
100% truth. I've never seen Other OS advertised not once, not one single time in the 4 years I've had it. Unless someone can link me to a non-bogus video where it's deliberately and specifically singled out and noted as a feature then why make the claims as if it ever was.
I need confirmation on advertisement because the back of my 40GB model says nothing of Other OS and neither did my 60GB model box.

I could care less about trophies and scores and will not go out of my way to achieve them in any game. I played and beat MGS4 three times the month it came out; I just could not put it down it was that good to me and all the while with zero trophy support so there was no incentive to play it that much other then pure enjoyment of a GOOD game.
Not that it matters to most but do the majority of people even know what these "review" numbers mean?

I think if these articles keep appearing then over time it might hurt the sale of ps3 out now but people have to remember one thing; the longer it takes to sell the old the longer it takes to get the new.
These speculation articles need to subside till Sony announces everything officially, price and all. The ps3 that are out now are very good machines so why wait unless money is too tight.

Isn't the whole point of games and consoles is to just pick them up whenever and enjoy them? I have loved games since I was a kid and played on the NES on most consoles all the way to the 360 and ps3. Sadly I never owned any Atari consoles or the Saturn but I did own the rest of Sega's consoles then when PlayStation came out I was in love. <3

if the game will have a lot of FPS dips like GTA4 had or if the frame rate will be a lot smoother and consistent because I can't help but think about that since playing GTA on my PS3.
