Xbox emulator on the Xbox 360 was actually really good. It brought backwards compatibility to almost 200 original Xbox titles to the X360.

I have it on XBO and XB360... there is definitely a difference in visuals. From textures, color, fxs, and AA. It's hard for me to even play it on XB360 after.
Next gen patches are cumulative. Each new patch has all previous patches rolled into it and it then overwrites the old patch.
