Bethesda puts out quality material and you know the console versions won't be that far behind, they just won't be that 'smooth' as what's currently being shown off for the game. If you go look at Fallout 3 PC pictures and then compare them to the console versions what you mostly notice is that the textures are just far better on the PC when equipped with a high end rig and it's incomparable. Resolution is also higher on PC and the game generally runs a lot better. However, as we saw with Fall...
I don't know if I'd exactly count a console bundle as promotion because a lot of people actually ignore the games in most bundles because statistically the bundle games have often times been on the 'weaker' side. Take the common 360 game bundle of Kung Fu Panda and Indiana Jones. Not necessarily bad games (I quite like the Lego series I must admit) but doesn't exactly scream blockbuster either.
I don't know if I'd say MS under advertised because I definitely remember seeing some ...
I dunno this is definitely one of the cooler collectible items. It's pricey, but cool. Lets just hope it's not cheeply made like the majority of other crap items that have come with these limited edition games over the years.
FFXIII going to 360 will have as much impact as GTAIV on 360. Meaning, the game won't help 360 sales, but it will hurt Sony sales in the sense that now gamers that wanted to play FFXIII that own only a 360 no longer will go out and buy a PS3 for the game. However, only gamers that own a 360 will buy the game on 360 and I doubt the 360 will see any increased sales (much like GTAIV) as a result of the move.
In other words, the move hurt Sony more than it helps Microsoft (if that ma...
So a game that - as far as I know - was amongst the highest praised at E3 by most gaming networks is going to suck? That's definitely just taking a shot right there and GameDaily only survives because they make articles like this that generate hate traffic. Seriously people, they are owned by AOL (another dieing company) so just stop visiting them and eventually they will just die off.
As a fan of the Ready to Rumble series I was looking forward to FaceBreaker and after playing the demo I was left pretty shocked at where the game is currently. It's definitely a button masher. I even tried to add a little bit of strategy into the game and the game refuses to let strategy work. Even counter moves are activated by button mashing. Getting your ass kicked? No problem, just hold the counter button and keep pressing the punch button as fast as you can until it counters.

First off, MS just re-set in stone that when the new Xbox Live dashboard hits this fall that all multiplayer access through Xbox Live will continue to be Gold Membership. Currently, the games that are listed on this site have all ready been reported to be "limited free play" and will eventually stop by MS. More than likely, they are limited free play to give thrifty gamers the chance to at least play online so that hopefully they enjoy it enough to pay for the service. Notice also...
The iPhone will dominate the Mobile Cellphone gaming category, but in its current form is not a contender in the gaming handheld division for a lot of reasons. First, to comment on the graphics: no, it's not on par with the better crop of PSP games graphically and I'm really shocked that some people seem to think so.
Second, people forget that this is a cell phone and gaming is a secondary option. Also, there's no media storage format and since the iPhone does not offer an option...
@ jaja1434,
Nope I'm not. All ready own it for PC. Like I said, I don't wait a year for good games to hit a system. I just go out and play it.
For those wondering what's next to the 360, it's a PS3. The dimensions are exactly on par and you can even seen the cables from the controllers from it. It's not some sort of black box, it's a PS3, plain and simple.
For those that have played MGS4, you will understand why people are highly skeptical about it being ported. It has very little to do with fanboyism or PlayStation loyalty. Putting aside disk space (MGS4 would have to be at least 3-4 disks on 360), etc. the main reaso...
It could be anyone, but here are my votes if a secret vote is going on:
1) Kratos
2) Any Final Fantasy Character with a big ass sword (seriously, where is Squall or Sephiroth... they'd fit into Soul Calibur pretty easily)
3) Sora (keyblade ftw!)
Ok, this has to be one of the dumbest things people are crying about. I'm sorry, regardless of what he said, it's just one person's personal opinion and regardless of whether or not it's true or not, it's just an opinion. The fact that this has become a news story says that some gamers are just constantly looking for something to argue about.
I have something for those of you crying over this:
Bale's a good choice, but I was still swinging for Hugh Jackman. He has the looks, the voice and even the damn body build of a young/middle aged snake. Plus, the Wolverine and Snake characters have very similar attitudes (minus the extra aggression from Wolverine) so he's all ready sort of groomed for the role. Christian Bale obviously has action movie role experience as well, but it will be harder to groom him for the role I think due to his face (he's got a pretty boy face and Snake is any...
MS has bought a LOT of exclusives and just as many timed exclusives and how has this helped this so far? I guess if you were to take things into account at this point, not so much because the PS3 has steadily been gaining speed despite all the money MS has spent to boast about a bigger library. The choice of games MS made to purchase were great titles, but none of them were system sellers. Bioshock, Mass Effect and a few others all good games, but they aren't system sellers.
Excl...
Right because I'm sure there has NEVER been a movie where people have ran around a city, blown it up and killed people, had a lot of cussing and mafia people in it? Oh crap, did I just describe almost every mafia movie ever made?
There is no such thing as a GTA movie. Instead, it was movies that inspired GTA, especially GTAIV where much of the story is a poor iteration of better mob/mafia movies out there.
So I guess in a more technical sense, what this story should ...
The problem with Konami's bundle is that it was the 40gb model. Had it been the 80gb model it would have been flying off the shelf. Hell, I've had my PS3 since launch but I probably would have bought one just to have it had it been the 80gb. No one wants to spend that kind of money for a 40gb model, especially when the 40gb is the gimped version of the PS3. I'm sure Konami chose that to keep cost down, but for a limited edition, they should have gone all out and went with the better version o...
I agree with both sides of the argument that because of its budget, it would be very difficult for Konami to NOT port this game. However, after having beaten the game, I'm going to side with the PSM Editor in that there are SO MANY references to Sony, PlayStation products and Apple in this game that I think Hideo pretty much said right there it won't be coming to 360. If you move the camera around during cutscenes, especially Otacon on the Codec, you not only will see Apple products everywhe...
Ok, so Apple didn't really announce anything no one expected, but I'm confused about something and maybe someone can clear up.
During the keynote, Apple took a shot at ActiveSync software (that's push software for those unaware...and not a very good one either... in fact, it's the worst out there) by calling it ActiveStink and talking about their 'MobileMe' thing. Well, after visiting the official Apple Store page, it clearly says "ActiveSync". So, MobileME is just a re...
If you remember any Metal Gear game in the past when it comes to advertising, it was always done the WEEK of release and typically not prior. So is this a cause for concern? No, not really. When the weekend or Monday rolls around, you'll start seeing the ads, as always.
While I agree Sony pretty much dropped the ball with that $249.99 price tag, most people are completely forgetting that this product is not designed to replace your PSP. It's not a PSP 2, it's a modified PSP. The PSP Go is merely an evolution of the PSP in the exact same fashion as the PSone was a smaller, slimmer version of the PlayStation and the PS2 Slim was a smaller, slimmer version than the PS2. In other words, it's a mid-life product cycle refresh and it makes sense. As time goes on,...
