Premonition is right. The sales for the PS3 weren't bad considering the economy but it is time for a price cut this Spring.
A game that needs a demo is LBP. You dont know how good it is until you try it for yourself.
Thats good because it sucks having to scroll all the time.
I would expect that fall 2010 would be the right time for the next Xbox. By that time the PS3 graphics and quality of games would be way ahead of the 360s.
I been using one for ages. Although it doesn't support rumble.
Please bring Braid to the PS3.

He mentions LIVE Party and how its intergrated into the OS and I think that this is something that Sony needs to work on. It takes too long to get into Home and then invite people over.
They should also allow text chat in the PSN Chat Room plus universal in-game invites. Hopefully in 2009.

My XP laptop is crap. It has a 1.3Ghz celeron processor but it does have an (upgraded) 1.25 GB RAM. Do you think it could handle Windows 7? I know it covers the minimum specs but do you think it would run better than XP. I find that Microsofts minimum specs are never high enough if you want to run a smooth machine.

Yes Halo 3 was big but this is DLC not a full game although it doesn't require Halo 3.
Im sure Microsoft have some surprise titles as do Sony but comparing the announced Sony lineup and the announced Microsoft lineup, its clear which is far better.
Yeah it wont drop $200 but it has a hell lot more packed into the machine than an arcade Xbox.
The PS3 would be performing so much better if the economy was where it was a year ago. Kaz Hirai (spelling?) said that the PS3 would be very little effected by the poor economy but he was very much mistaken. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony drop the price very soon, perhaps before Killzone 2.
DVD wont die as easily as VHS as a format. DVDs can be used in portable devices and computers which VHS obviously could never achieve.

I recon Sony will have full PS2 software emulation AND PS2 game downloads before the end of the year.
a $100 price cut could make a HUGE change to the game industry. Unlike the PS3, Microsoft have very little further they can go to bring in new hardware sales by cutting their prices.
