i think final fantasy 13 was an equal failure?

A game can be total crap but if it's fun then it's a great game
Haze, for example, despite being critically destroyed, was a fun co-op game to play! That is of more value to me personally, than the graphics of Killzone 2/Crysis/Uncharted 2, or the gameplay mechanics of Little Big Planet.

nahh, I mean you would NEVER know what to do with the red hot demon's soul unless you use the wiki page.
I'm not talking trophies or garbage like that; there's just alot in the game you would "miss" if you didn't use that page.
Sure demon's souls is meant to be played via experience. That experience, once you beat the game, wears thin and in new game plus with a well built character you look towards PVP for a challenge.

Sure they're NICE, and I love that feeling of accomplishment but if they interference with the game (by making me change the way in which I would normally play it to get something) then forget it.

I felt that game was somewhat like a spiritual successor to FF7
Demon Souls isn't that difficult; you guys are really overdoing it!
The real difficulty in the game comes from not knowing where anything is or what they do; and therefore use the wiki page to learn the game mechanics as you play and you'll be fine =]

Killzone 2's gameplay wasn't that great, it was fun for a while but nothing worth returning too. That being said Killzone 2 is still a good game just nowhere even remotely close to a game I'd say I really enjoyed.

Infinity Ward really did try to fix the problems but with all that's going on with Activision at the current moment and the number of hackers it's pretty tough :(
