I Never consider it a walking simulator, but TLOU is not the kinda of game where your decisions or what you do in the game matters (like different endings or how the world changes because of your decision). It is a story that ND wanted to tell, you can't change it. You can only go along for the ride. Again, this type of games can be watched and make a "subjective" opinion on the matter, story wise, without playing because the story doesn't change.

Not sure in this case where story is like the main part of TLOU. Story, acting, cutscene do not change your perspective whether you play it or not. Same like watching a movie.
Dark soul is a bad example because it is all about gameplay and you can't see the difficulty unless u play it your self, obviously some people can make it seems easier than it looks.

It kinda did, but if MS show that flight simulator, it would be nuts. I just cant fathom that they are able to pull that off currently. That thing is really something else, beyond next gen. Very impressive tech and many possible things that can come with it next gen. If anything, I really think that is the true paradigm shift for next gen.

Yeah I'm not sure. RDR2 detail is staggering and for an open world no less. TlOU2 no doubt will be excellent, but can't really be compare given the scale.

Assassin's creed Origin, odyssey, botw, dragon dogma (one of the best melee action open world game out there,), black desert (mmorpg), Batman Arkham, spiderman, etc....

Last time I update, the ethernet driver wasnt available so no matter what (even factory reset) I can't go online. The only way to update is to go online lol. Well I always wanted an offline laptop, so I guess got what I wish for :/

I would give up my 1st born if they rebooted phantom dust. MAN best game ever period IMO. It is even more fitting now that arena types of games are becoming more dominant. Can't believe how such brilliant game never get a proper remake, prequel or sequel or even copied by anyone? It is mind boggling.
I can imagine a prequel would flesh out more of the trio relationship there.
