Huh? It is negative. A lot of people assumed we'd be going into next gen leaving 30fps behind, especially considering the specs of the new consoles.
In regards to Echo he spun it by saying "nothing has changed" when it clearly has. Microsoft is recieving a hell of a lot of hate off the back of this. The publicity was good up until now.

Talk about downplaying that poor amount of gameplay. People wanted what was expected to be shown, are they not allowed to be disappointed?

It's not just about loading screens. The way Sony plan to use the SSD completely changes the way the game is designed. If certain games on PC implement it like that too, any other version of that game would be affected a lot more than just "loading screens". It could make them very difficult to play if using a regular harddrive, for example.
