Not sure at this point a physical release makes sense. Would you even recoup enough lost money on the costs to get the game released physically. Mots who wanted to play the game did not sure you would sell enough copies to recoup the costs to get the game out physically.
Seems short to me and I felt the 12 hour spiderman 2 game was to short. I feel the same way about this game. Luckily its part of Game Pass so I will still play it but would have debated full price like i did with Spiderman 2.
PlayStation is built on these souls games and then 3rd person games. I like the 3rd person games but I will never want to play the soul games I enjoy playing games and their stories not being brutalized by some insane difficulty level..
WOW, FF used to be the best RPG and outsell anything RPG wise surprised a capcom RPG is even close to sales much less overtake it.
They should like 2 years later like Sony does with PCX games.
It was great on the PS5 loved it one of my fav games but the PC version will be the definitive version for me PC hardware is just so much more powerful than console Hardware.
My fav PS4 game. I can not wait to see it on my 4090 just awesome
PlayStation really needs to take advantage of the PC market. It will hep offset the costs of their AAA first party titles.

Just get it on PC. That is what I did. Was nice not having to wait a year or more for it like Sony usually does.
I think that is a bit to far. I think they should release their PC games way closer if not at same time as their console release. That is untapped revenue they should eye to help offset costs of those expensive story driven games. The games are developed on PCs anyways. Even a 6 month window would be more than enough you can satisfy your hard cores with the exclusive window and then reap the rewards of the a still fresh game to pc gamers in that time frame.
You think Sony would pay Microsoft to do this.
Hope all consoles eventually release their ips to all consoles and PC. Its lame you are forced to buy a console to play a game. Forced to use a diff eco system and a different controller.

Never be as popular. The Souls like difficulty turns off a ton of people me included. GOT was amazing can not wait for the PC version.
Who cares, let other consoles play the games a year later. I do not care. Sony will be doing the same thing within a year guaranteed.
@Eonjay, I know I do not care. This is what Sony will eventually do as well. Stupid to force gamers to play on a console they do not want to play on. I know I hate the PS controller layout Im sure their are just as many who feel that way about the xbox controller layout.
Eventually they will all go multiplatform stupid not too. They do not make money on the console itself till much later in its life span.
Than skip it. Their are enough of us who enjoy it to buy it yearly. MW3 MP and zombies has been amazing this year. The campaign sucked but the other parts have been amazing. 300 hour into and love the game. Zombies is a blast.
Blows my mind someone would pass on obtaining a game they wanted to play just so you can have the case and a game disc that is already out of date to the current live version. The boxes upon boxes and totes full of game and game related accs and hardware when I moved made me grateful for all the digital stuff I had.
