Youtube videos don't show you how big the difference is. Take Witcher 3 for example it looks miles better on PC with far better rendering distance and better textures plus theres the higher resolutions and frame rates that it has, this is coming from someone who played the ps4 version and recently picked up a cheap pc version. Sorry but your wrong the differences are massive and only a deluded individual would say the difference is negligible.
It has a story but it's hidden and not really told to you. Fantastic game but it's frame rate is poor to say the least.
MGSV is a good game but it's NOT a 10/10 game which is why it is overrated, its a solid 7 or 8 but anything more than that is rewarding a MMO esque daily quest system that makes you do the same thing for hours on end...
Not to sure on Blops 3 overrated as it is a step forward from the past 4 or 5 games.
I would put Batman AK on the list as that game was just poor and forced the bat mobile on you which killed the game badly for me.
People get far too hyped for games now that their expectations have surpassed what is even possible, leading to disappointment and people crying on forums etc.
People seem to blame hype on other people yet they are the ones "hyping" it up... Go into games not hyped, your way more likely to enjoy the game and get more time out of it.
Oh come on people it was shown as a survival game from the first video... Hence why everyone was so hyped for it as people were expecting a console DayZ. Sadly it isn't that, was expecting it to have food and drink you need to take every so often and find and then have to scavenge for ammo.
how does playing shooters make you a casual? Gears of War is far from a casual game, one of the most competitive console games you can play and has one of the biggest skill gaps...
Frame rate is far more important than resolution.
Both consoles are weak... Both consoles struggle to hold 30 fps on a lot of games which is pathetic.
That's why the dark zones will be the best part of the game PvP in an open world environment mixes it up.
The problem is that they are full price yet only have as much content as they would have if they had a SP as well. They need to pretty much supply double the content if they want to go just MP, double the maps, double the weapons, double the modes and most of all make sure the damn servers work...
The amount of Mp only games that have poor servers is incredible. It's the backbone of the game yet they seem to want skimp out on it. I mean pump some of the money into making...
Titanfall is a fantastic game... It does however lack content but it's gameplay is pretty much flawless.
No CS:GO lasted so long because it has a skill gap, price helps but it would still be popular at full price.
thats because the player base shrinks to a point where the game isn't worth supporting anymore and you cant find games anyway... Usually happens years after release or when a company goes under. However some games can be saved by this, look at C&C which has been saved by modders who have kept it's online portion alive. Then there is company of Heroes 1 which went down with THQ but was saved by Steam taking over it's MP support.
It's not all doom and gloom....
Good as this will be where the replay-ability is.
The game is made to be played online and cooperatively. Personally not bothered at all about the story as this games best part will be the PvP in the zoned areas. Shame its only zoned areas as I would of loved it to be like Dayz where you can PvP anywhere on the map.

It cant be when it's competition is Dota and LoL... Luckily it has nothing to compete with on consoles but most MOBA's going into PC have to be free to play and have a lot of work put into them to even have a small player base.
Its a great game but it got beaten by a better game (Witcher 3) in my opinion.
I love the AC series but i'm glad they are adding more time to the next ones dev time as it can only improve on an already solid foundation and you never know it might come back stronger and better than ever because of it.
BF3 on ultra looks better than BF4 on consoles as well...
