hype can destroy games so this is a good thing for the game. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best game this month and hopefully it has another amazing OST like HR had.
ye but then again not every game needs a SP either... Can you really not see the benefits of NMS having a MP?
He's too busy putting his name in every part of the game so it could take a while.
tbh it only really needs some form of MP, co-op or other where you can actually fly around together etc.
Making Sp for FPS isn't hard it's whether its worth it or not and a lot of them have decided that it isn't, either for better or worse. SP will never be killed off... why on earth people think this is beyond silly.
It is true though a large portion of most FPS players now dont even bother with the SP, there is a reason a lot of them dont ship with SP now even if some people cant deal with that.
BF4 competitive? are you insane? CoD, Overwatch and Halo have a far better competitive scene on consoles...
BF4 is average at best, it's easily the worst mainline BF game. Terrible map design, awful frame rate (PS4 version) and the BF series continues to get more and more casual with each iteration.
It's only "good" because everything else out at the moment is also average or poor. It's the best of a bad bunch.

Nailed it. Everyone seems to think they should like every game that comes out.
It is boring. However it somehow keeps you coming back. I play an hour or 2 then get bored and about 30 mins later I want to play it again.
building in games is boring... It's added in every single game similar to this and all it does is make the game a chore.

I am the same with Sketchy to be honest I didnt think Uncharted 4 would be very good and to be honest it neither impressed me or made me feel disappointed, felt worse than others in the series and didnt really do anything that others in the series hadn't.
NMS I went into thinking it would be awful, its not brilliant but its not bad either. I get bored after an hour or 2 but then I come back every time so far.

When will people learn to not over hype and have way too much expectation for new games. It's all your fault that you seem to think the next game coming out is going to be the best game ever...
TTK made Destiny worthwhile IMO.
Only cod, BF have really sustained a player base this gen for shooters. Only Siege and Overwatch are games I think haven't died off in a week or 2 and Siege is even growing. Titanfall was good but had the issue of being hated on for not being on PS4. TF2 only needed more content as the gameplay was pretty much perfection.
