Funny how power suddenly isn't a thing, the scorpio will be a stronger piece of hardware just like the ps4 was to the xbox one and THAT is a good 80% of the reason you brought the the ps4... Software is not the reason as NO exclusive is worth buying a console for, in fact there isn't ANY I would buy a console for this gen. Hopefully Microsoft care more about performance than resolution but I doubt it.

pretty much it's built for people who want the same games on 4k. It's basically pointless for 1080p users when most games wont utilize any of the extra power.
Gameplay is hugely linked to Frame rate though... If its not smooth then a fast paced game looks bad and plays bad, Titanfall for example would be horrid at 30, same with most shooters. At the end of the day a smoother game will always be better to play and feel better over a 30 fps game, 60 fps is just better. The issue here is people care more about resolution, Sony have jumped the point of the ps4 pro by aiming at 4k when they SHOULD of aimed at BETTER performance for 1080p 60fps which is ...
you say that but look at the back lash for the Pro... MS will see this and will use it just like how Sony did with the DRM and sharing games. There is no way they will release a console as powerful as the scorpio might be without giving the benefits of it to the people buying it especially when it's pretty much a new gen console.
