When this gen started all my mates at work was all sony now in the last few weeks the ones with a ps4 also have a x1. So in my opinion yes I think the numbers could swing the other way.
Xb1 has had the better games so far this gen think its down to reputation of the 2 companys. Imo phil spencer is doin a great job if its enough not sure. since JT left sony its not the same sony seems detached from the gamers feels like suits tryin to be cool and aint workin.
I think it might be other way ps4 lower and xbox1 is much higher when official numbers come out.
Hes trying to turn us into hippies and love each other I want bitter rivalry. He should have said sony was naf at e3 and x1 is comin back to wipe out ps4 lead within 6 months :)
If this is there pay structure wow its like they want it to fail.

Sony can take some of the blame but not all. Mobile phone market has fragmented the market even 3ds sales are below expectations.

Think Microsoft are suffring because they totally forgot about 360 in its last years and a lot of folk jumped over to ps3 towards the end. X1 is a great multimedia gaming machine and I think its got the better games at the mo.
It will help short term but it needs killer games every month to stand a chance more demos and apps on store increase sales 3rd partys will take notice.
Everything Microsoft can do sony can do better im sure sony has looked into the tech and will follow just like Microsoft copied sony on plus.
It come down to price and if its released before the competition. How much will it cost if u need move cons and the camara. Talking mega bucks and we know sony dont suport its accessories with much love.
Xbox360 and my ps3 are more revlant then my ps4 better games library nothin graphics wise as amazed me still think lou is the best looking game to date. Oh and the missin features mp3 dlna what was they thinkin.
As much as I like sony I thought it was the weaker of the 2 presentation was lame we missed JT.
I play the indi games more so I dont mind so much but I will never buy a launch machine again.
I just want a game that screams next gen to justify my purchace. E3 for all its hype did nothin for me except to never buy a launch console again the waitin game is no fun.
Microsoft had a good build up to e3 sony could have done so much more.
It would have a good start if they didnt delay games missing features etc.
