Apparently MS didn't learn from Sony's mistake. They started the X1 as a multi media console and it got them nothing. So even then they still have not learned their lesson.
At the end of the day gamers only care that their console plays games and plays them well. Simple gaming machine that does not do everything.

This whole focus on non gaming stuff is a losing strategy. The media focus for X1 was one of they main reason why it was panned by people. PS3 does everything ring a bell?.

The PS4 Pro is just over 2 times the power of the standard PS4 while Scorpio is about 5 times the power of the X1 which is about the same power increase from the 360 to X1.
No one can seriously claim that the PS4 Pro is a next gen console. Scorpio though one can claim its a generation leap.

Scorpio does not sand a chance though. By then there will perhaps be at least 65 million PS4's and perhaps 7-9 million of them Pro.
