2. Content
Get those two right and you might be on to something extraordinary Sony/VR people.

The problem I see with this author and is common now days with many mainly young gamers is that they think that a game is useless once you clock it. This mindset is new in gaming and is problematic.

I game since the Atari days and I would consider myself a hardcore gamer since then. Bought most of my games and play them from time to time.
Believe it or not most of the classic games I have last less than 2hrs playtime.

Its a mix of Heavy Rain and Gears for me.
It didn't just play like gears/uncharted nor did it just play like Heavy Rain. I like this about this game.

It is clear that the majority of people that hates this game didn't start gaming until the 5th or 6th gen.
I am the type of gamer that buys games for enjoyment from time to time. I still have my NES collection and still pop contra and double dragon 2 and 3 from time to time for short gaming fix.
It is the same for the order for me. I have a family and I have a full time job. I do not have more than 3hrs a day to grind or improve my stats and what not.

On top of it and perhaps most important is the double standards and the stupid reasons why it was scored lower.
In a nutshell most of the reviewers that gave it a score between 1-6 were reviewing the order on what they wanted the order to be or what was missing from the game. Almost every thing that was great about the order was overlooked.

There are so many reasons why its selling ok but I will just mention 2 here.
1. It is a bit different. It not just another Uncharted or Gears in Victoria London. Believe it or not. Many gamers are jaded with the same game formula from last gen and are looking for something a bit different. Heavy Rain was a fresh experience last gen but fuse with a bit of Gears you get the Order.
