It looks like Sony is just getting started!
The game flourished on the Playstation, MGS2 was also on the original Xbox, MGS3 was a PS2 exclusive, MGS4 PS3 exclusive, Rising (Not a real Metal Gear) and these new games are post-Metal Gear, the original game is already over and Kojima wants to keep making these, I do hate that they're not exclusive anymore though, the Xboners dont deserve a game like Metal Gear.
But who cares, everyone should be getting a PS4 anyway, and if youre only getting an Xbone youre pretty much a moro...
I hope for even more diversity coming from Sony this gen.
Maybe some more RPG's and some classic remakes.
I really dont see the Xbone being all that great, yeah it does have some goood games at launch but nothing special, the only game I was looking forward to was Ryse but it looks about as lame as dead to rights on the PSP with better grapphics. The extra 100 and the kinect camera plus the XBL Gold charges are some of the big reasons why Im skipping the Xbone. Not to mention that they tried to completely screw me over as a gamer and as a consumer.

The way I see it and judging from the comments, 8/10 is a great score for a new console and this is Sony people, it means they havent yet EXPLODED with games.
8 out of 10 gives it room to improve, I think within the next year the PS4 will come to be a 8.5-9/10 console and within the next years it is going to be pretty close to a 10/10.
Greatness awaits.
When a new console runs an old game like Call of Duty at 720p while the other cheaper console runs it at 1080p I think its pretty obvious which one is better.

Kojima was extremely impressed with TLOU, and everything he gets inspired by is showed in his games in some way or another.
