Completely disagree. This game is extremely well crafted. The navigation on foot and in vehicle is ridiculously smooth, the combat is better than GTAV. The subtleties of this game really shines when you walk through the environment taking in the conversations and awesome soundtrack. You have missed my point entirely, which I expected to be honest, given your original post. There is actually a spectrum of gameplay options that are on offer here. The Assault rifle route has been shown to attract interest to the product, but this IS an OPTION. Games evolve to suit all tastes, deal with it.
How do you know it's not splinter cell? I assume you've played it? or maybe you're just one of those bitter gamers who hates game evolution. Conviction forced gamers towards action true, but the makers of this game have stated that this will be accessible to all types of stealth gamer. The "This is not..." brigade are getting tiresome.
Just to clarify, simply because I see this a lot. The Driving in this game DOES NOT SUCK. People simply have no idea how to use the controls. The driving and on foot navigation is ridiculously smooth. They have put a Hell of a lot of effort into the controlled acceleration of the cars. Big tip - Use the Rev counter on screen and don't over rev by just holding the acceleration down!
