Pretty amazing job Rockstar did with the details in this game. I have never been to New York City, but after playing this game I kind of feel like I have now. Nice job.
Who really cares and why does it matter? Just buy it for the system that you own and be happy. Rockstar is making their money on the game either way. People on here find the dumbest things to argue about. "My system sold more games than your system"..blah, blah, blah.
Been playing GTA IV on mine since launch day on a 60GB PS3 and have not had one single problem so far. Been running perfect. Hope they find a fix for this before it catches up to me.
Nice look to the new store, but could the icons load any slower?? It takes forever for some of the pages of icons to finish. Once they are loaded it runs very fast, but after you exit the store completely and then go back in you have to wait all over for the icons to load again. And before everyone flames me for having slow internet connection, I have Verizon Fios with a 15Mbps download speed with a 1Gig hard wired ethernet connection.
I think that $30 is a little on the high side for this. It is not even the full pedal assembly, just the part that you stomp on gets swapped out and a couple of screws. I would understand if it was the entire assembly with the connection wire and everything, but not for just the pedal itself. I think that I would only order this if my pedal was already broken so that I could get it working again.
Only 7 maps?? That seems a little slim and can get repetitive real fast. They are probably planning to nickel and dime us on DLC later on. Other than that it is looking like a great game.
I cannot stand EA anymore! How can they keep putting out so many games that just don't amount to anything. Once again they will not be getting my money. There is just no excuse for this. Is this the best that they can do? They just need to stop wasting everyone's time and money with this crap.
Does anybody really care about this game or its comparisons? This is one game that is definitely not on the top of my list of must buys anyway.
This is exactly why competition is good for gaming. We all end up winning in the end. As long as MS and Sony are competing with each other we will continue to see better games come out much sooner than we would otherwise.
Looks like someones project for a science fair or something....lol. Very useless. Who is going to carry that thing around with them along with a brick of a power supply?
I still enjoy playing Tiger Woods 08. I don't see how that game ended up getting the most disappointing game of the year. It might have a few minor flaws like any other game, but still very fun and playable if you enjoy golf games.
PS3 even has to wait longer to get a patch. I hate EA..this sucks.
What a surprise...who didn't see this coming? I am sure this will be a great game just like the first one. This will be great with the new rumble controller.
I agree, NHL 08 is a great game. I am tired of hearing all of this 30fps vs. 60fps stuff....blah, blah, blah. I have it on the PS3 and if it is running at 30fps it still runs perfectly smooth and if someone didn't tell me it was running at 30fps I would never know. Online play also has no lag at all. Great game no matter what platform you buy it on. You are missing out if the 30fps talk is keeping you from picking it up on the PS3.
I always check reviews. In most cases it keeps me from wasting my money. Games don't come cheap now days and I read reviews on them just like I do on any other expensive product before I buy. I don't just rely on one review though, I look at the overall review by many different sites. They are usually pretty accurate if you average them all out.
It isn't a problem, just a preference. I think most people will agree that it just looks nicer, but not greatly needed. I agree that the content should be the first priority.
It would be a welcomed change if it would happen. I doubt that it will though because it resembles the 360 too much. I wish that Sony could overlook that and just make the change.
Not sure where you live, but if you have a Fry's Electronics in your area I have found them to be the cheapest so far on the Blu-Ray movies. They have a lot of movies for around $20. A couple of weeks ago they had a special where you could buy 3 select movies for $25 and they had quite a few to choose from. They seem to be getting cheaper there. Everywhere else I look they are about $30 each.
I agree with you and competition is good for gaming. As long as they keep trying to outdo each other we all win. We end up with better games that way.
Just more of the same old "Hurry up and wait". I think that Sony would just be better off just not saying anything until the updates are actually ready to be distributed to the public.
