I never understood why you want to compare specs, I don't want it because of the specs, it's about the games. So compare game libraries.
I also see no reason to buy an xbox x. But "upgrade your pc for a lot less", is just utter rubbish.
The cheapest next gen card is 500 euros. And then you assume that peeps have up to date PCs that wont bottle neck your shiny new card.
Most will have to upgrade their cpu, mainboard and probably also memory if you'd be coming from ddr3. Not to mention probably a new psu to power your next gen card, at the very least a 650 bronze psu.
