This isn't a trend that has just started in Japan.Sony have been waiting for their loyal fan base to push sales in Japan since the ps3's launch.They will keep on waiting until they slash the price,start releasing JRPG's games,stop delaying Home and sort out multiplayer features that are standard on PC and xbox live but fail to arrive in any of Sony's firmware updates.

I agree with everything you say about the xbox in Japan,but I have been surprised how little support the ps3 has had in Japan over the pass two years.Sony needs to give Japan what it wants which is a price cut and some JRPG.It's not enough for Sony to keep making assumptions that their fans will remain loyal to the playstation brand over the xbox,if the Japanese people consider the console is too expensive and there are no games for them to play.

This game does look stunning,but I haven't read too much about its game play,so I'm hoping there is a demo.Unfortunately,even if it plays well as a demo I'll still be unsure about this games replayability.Because there are other great games coming soon for the ps3,I'm going to wait for all the reviews.If it scores well I,ll give it a try,as it is something new and looks good fun.
You are right.Whenever I go into Game the place is heaving.Mothers buying Wiis,their daughters buying games for their Nintendo DS and the lads checking out the 360 and play station games.There is plenty of choice for all of us and we all seem to be pretty happy about the healthy state of the console/gaming market.

I believe there was a BBC reporter who was shown a new exclusive game for the ps3 but he was sworn to secrecy not to reveal anything about the game.I cant't remember his exact words,but he said this game was basicly going to blow everything else out of the water.Everyone assumed it was MAG with its 256 player online,but the guy from the BBC said it wasn't MAG.Therefore we all wait to see exactly what game is coming.
