I think that Mass Effect Andromeda will be more like the first mass effect game. We already know it has the land vehicle from the first and it's a new setting. So assuming it follows reboots like the star wars movie, it'll probably be a new ragtag team of people traveling around on a mission. Mass Effect also had a more open feel than its sequels. There were lots of side quests on far away planets and options on which mission to do first and I feel like to fully introduce a new series...
