With blu-rays players under 199$ now and xbox 360 at 199$ the argument of buying a PS3 for blu-ray movie and gaming is less a argument now. At the beginning that's what drove the sells of the PS3 because of all the none-gaming people that was buing a PS3 for a blu-ray player. That's why you don't see a great attach rate compared to 360.

The first Xbox was more powerfull than the PS2 and we could see it in graphics, even if it came out almost a years and a half after PS2.
