Yeah I think I can skip a few Gearbox releases for the foreseeable future....
Yeah, I really don't think people want to hear me and my "Suthurn Te-wang" on a podcast.
Hell even I don't like listening to me.
Hey if Rocksteady can put Bats back on the map, think of what they could do with Supes.
I liked XvT too. You'd think that with the Rogue Squadron titles being so popular they'd of followed up with that. But... the more I read about the backroom stuff, and seeing as how fickle Lucas was with his own company, I mean, he WAS his own worst enemy at times, the more I kinda realized the really good stuff of the past was gone. I was hopeful, honestly hopeful, that 1313 would've been the IT game for them. And us. Sadly we'll never see it happen.
Faith and a .45, was looking forward to that one.
Definitely a Superman game. If Rocksteady can bring Batman back from the dead, then I'm sure they can do the same for Supes.
And maybe make us forget that Superman 64 ever existed.
I really can't see how someone can actually be proud that they're spending HALF A BILLION dollars on making a game. Imagine what you could've done with that chunk of change.
Totally agree. Good enough game, but there are some snags.
I'd say it's almost on that cult classic niche really. Good game, but not full price good though.
Lego Batman. And the first Viva Pinata.
Even if it'd be one last send off, I'd love to go back to the suikoden universe myself. II was the best out of the bunch, but the whole setting is just too interesting not to do something with it.
Honestly? I think DA II came out in a really tumultuous time for BioWare. A lot of long time leads had left or were leaving, and that left the teams to scramble, I think, to try and shore themselves up. Put fresh faces in to try fresh and interesting things, etc.
Unfortunately, I don't think it worked out the way they had it planned though. But they're learning. So I'll give them a pass.
Nicely done. I'm looking forward to this title, despite how lukewarm Dragon Age II was received. I think BioWare took the criticism to heart and will give players something positive to experience this fall.
I liked the game. It wasn't like... mega-awesome, but visuals, gameplay, audio, all enjoyable. End boss? Too QTE-centric. I'm up for a straight up fight, not a cinematic "simon says"
But I'm with you. I do hope the courts settle things soon though, so someone can look the IP over, and hopefully do something with it in the near future.
