1- Project cars is a sim racing game. FM5 is a arcade racing game so there is a huge difference in the driving physics so u can not compare it to ProjectCars. FM5 is more like DriveClub.

Xb1 has a low-range GPU (HD7790).
And plus it also depends on the architectural of each platform and the development. It will be hard to beat a 8 cores, HD7870 GPU...

You can turn off guide blue lines in GT5...
I understand some of your points.
But how GT loses the sense of speed? when its a sim. Its simulates the sense of speed of real cars...
Maybe your used to FM cause they tend to exaggerate the sense of speed a little bit like NFS, Grid, etc.
The only part where GT fails to simulate is sound engine. Hope they are gonna fix that.
