Just picked this up and have been playing through very very slowly. I so many deaths...
Will the Difficulty levels being added affect the main game or just the DLC?
Wonder boy and the dragon's trap was a huge let down. Hopefully, this game can make up for it.
Discovery and Story, IMO the first one was kind of a let down in the story department. It started out strong then fizzles and then all of a sudden it has a story again but it felt anticlimactic imo. Still had a better story than most JRPGs coming out at the time since for some reason devs had just started releasing the games with no story at all at that time.
I am really happy they changed the battle system. The HUGE flaw in the first game having to regrind your levels for ...
I'll wait for the PC release.
While I see every game since X as a stain on Hironobu Sakaguchi's underpants. I was able to enjoy XV for what it was. I am in the group that is so sick of turn based combat. So I really enjoyed the new combat system in some ways but honestly, I think it was still not the true "action" it should have been.
I also liked the idea that they were doing versus 13. I was hoping they would keep evolving the turn-based combat while I could take a break from that and e...
Every Xbox fan who already bought it will still buy this on launch day anyway. Some other people will too. For a couple months Microsoft will be happy with their sales numbers. It will have a price drop and 50 dollar off deals within a year.
Okay! But we have to attack one at a time and pause between attacks to rethink strategy. Also, we have to receive grades and scores from the observers between attacks. Shouldn't take too long a week or so.
This game has an amazing soundtrack. My only complaint is the lack of using it while traveling around the world. I really miss good old world map music. They did an amazing job on the music just want to hear it more lol.
Lost me at procedurally generated.
I wish the PS4 version was an action RPG. I just don't think I have the patience for turn-based combat anymore.
The last Rayman was an Auto-Runner on cell phones. If they even hope to start to compete with Mario then they need to release a full 3D Rayman as polished as Mario but on all platforms.
I wish they would evolve to supporting the PC at the level they do xbox.
If they had added controller support and not made it an endless runner I would have picked it up. I have no interest in auto running games.
Just not this. Xcom combat is pretty much the worst if you're a fan of action based combat. Mario needs a good Action RPG imo.
PS5 will just be PlayStation now with a new name.
Hopefully with no Naval battles.

I don’t think the year-long break helped anything in that regard, and the new features in Assassin’s Creed Origins don’t have me convinced anything is different. The game is shaping up to be super fun to play, especially with its more involved combat, but its deeper systems seem shallow despite their complexity, and Ubisoft has been oddly quiet on the narrative side of things.

I buy games on GOG and Green Man Gaming too. Though most of the GMG games end up being on steam. Either way, I won't even install Origin. I guess the windows store is a thing but its the worst one by far and things never go on sale.
With the new auto drive mode in Mario Kart my 3 year old thinks he is playing and I get to play a video game! *tear
Brave Fencer Musashi!! The Last Remnant seems like it already has about the same graphics or better as Zodiac Age but could use a combat system overhaul. It had too much chance in the battles which was very frustrating. I could do a battle and get destroyed but my friend played it and completely different things would happen. Was very frustrating.
