um, youve been able to couch game on PC for the last 15 years. use whatever controller you want to, every graphics card has had HDMI on them since the PS3 launched, hell theyve made lapboard KB/mouse pad combos for like 10 years. the myth that you cant couch game on PC is just that, a myth. My tower sits right beside my LG OLED and i game with a Roccat Sova lapboard and a Logitech G602 wireless mouse. and i use my 360, One and PS4 controller for single player games.
Because console kiddies keep bringing it up.
Driver issues are extremely few and far between. Well, at least on Nvidia, AMD is another story.
Um, you can couch game on a PC, ive been doing it since 2006. Its called using whatever controller you want to and HDMI, the connector that literally every graphics card has had on them for the last 15 years. Its amazing this myth is still around.
You get a whole lot more for that $1,500 though. Ability to use whatever controller you want to, ability to play almost every game dating all the way back the beginning of electronic entertainment, Mods that make 10 year old games so beautiful your eyes bleed, ability to completely customize the look of the PC, also you can couch game with them just grab a controller and an HDMI cable and youre off to the races. Plus, its a PC.
I hate to burst your bubble but we have been able to easily play PC on a big TV for 15 years now, PC GPU's have had HDMI ports about a year after the PS3 released and before that the majority of HDTVs had VGA inputs on them. Hell, the drivers for the Xbox 360, One, and Series X controllers are built directly into WIndows 8, 10, and 11. and Steam has even offers full Dualshock support and controller UI overlays for at least 5 years as far as i know maybe longer.
