I love how anything involving resolution or downgrades gets degrees through the roof, but something showing a critical eye to the way the game portrays gender? Nah, screw that. That would mean we would have to actually think about things deeper than a number or two. You may not agree with the point, but you prove the point when you brush aside the argument with flippant remarks about gender and using buzzwords like "feminazi", as if wanting a overall better portrayal of women in med...
Usually the PS content is bad to average. The Benedict Arnold DLC was boring and added nothing to the game except for an hours worth of padding with a forgone conclusion.
I haven't played the Watch Dogs exclusive content though. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. No one wants bad content, even if it is "free".
I think you need some weird logic for that conspiracy theory to work. Ubisoft lessening the PS4 version to not annoy Microsoft? How does that make sense. No one would have anything to gain.
Microsoft needs Ubisoft, not the other way around (to a degree).
This is similar to what happened at the start of the previous generation. If you go way back to the start of the 360 and PS3, you will notice that devs didn't know how to properly utilise the consoles resources.
This is why GTAV looked so good. Rockstar took their years of experience with both consoles to create something that looked better than GTAIV and RDR. They wouldn't have been able to do that at the start of the gen, they just didn't know how.
So Nintendo should side with people who hate homosexuals enough to not buy a game that includes the option to be it, than a group that really just want to be accepted? That is some BS logic.
Also, there is very little precedent to suggest that including LGBT options would effect sales. Mass Effect and Dragon Age sales were effected and you could go whichever way you wanted.
If you don't want to buy it that is fine, but people don't have to be an ass ...
Asking for gay marriage in a game that already includes heterosexual marriage is relatively simple though. There is a large difference between that and asking for other features.
Admittedly I feel this has been blown out of proportion. Some people ask for homosexual relationships in Tomodatchi Life, Nintendo say no, said people won't buy game, life goes on. What isn't great is the general hatred towards the people who asked for the option.
The amount of homophobia in threads even vaguely related to same sex relationships is astounding. The majority of comments boil down to "I am not against homosexuals, but...(enter something homophobic). By including people of different experiences will not mean yours are null and void. There is room for both, without hate and belligerence from either side of the argument.
That being said, Nintendo didn't HAVE to do anything. However, if people POLITELY asked for the ...

Let it be included. Why? Because it doesn't take anything away from what we already have. If the...
Metal Gear Solid will always be over-complicated, it is part of the appeal by this point. It has gone too deep to pull out now (hehe).
Leliana returning isn't really a surprise. She has turned up in both games and in two of the four novels. Also, (DA2 Spoilers) she appears with Cassandra at the end of DA2 attempting to find the Champion of Kirkwall with the Seekers.
On a lesser note, I'm not sold that the rogue is Cole for DA: Asunder, but I would like the unnamed mage to be Rhys. I found him to be a more interesting character and he would serve as a nice counter-point to the Anders brand of "fr...
Seems most people want Titanfall 2. Remember this moment in a few years, when we get sick of Titanfall after getting saturated in it. While there is little chance of a COD situation - one team making a new game in a year is near impossible - I'd rather Respawn wait a while until Titanfall 2.
All DLC's ever? So RDR: Undead Nightmare, Burial At Sea, The Brigmore Witches, Lost and the Damned, Ballad of Gay Tony, Artorias of the Abyss, the Borderlands DLC and the Fallout DLC were all not worth it at all?
I see no problem paying a little extra for something a little different.
Money? 2K aren't especially lacking in the funds department but development for two additional consoles, with two separate architectures, costs a lot of cash and takes a lot of time.
Saying that, I would love a PS4 version.
Didn't know? The majority of the online gaming community knows most of these due to marketing and memes I.E. Liam Neeson.
Also, you would need to be either blind or stupid to not know Ellen Page was in Beyond: Two Souls.
No one really said otherwise. The PS3 and Xbox 360 will be supported for a good while. It isn't like everyone goes "abandon ship" once a new generation is released.
My favorite twist came in Jak 3, when you find out who the precursors are. I didn't expect to find out who the precursors were, let alone for them to be..well...that!
You can only read translations of Final Fantasy X-2.5 ~Price of Eternity~, however in Final Fantasy X HD Remaster you can listen to Final Fantasy X -Will-, which does a pretty good job of crapping all over the characters and takes place after Final Fantasy X-2.5 ~Price of Eternity~.
If you are happy with the ending of FFX-2 I urge you not to listen to it. Let the story end there and enjoy it good and bad. The audio drama is sequel bait that does a great job at derailing the ...
Compared to all those other times Nintendo didn't market a Mario game? The ads for MK8 will be everywhere, from print to TV, let alone all the ads and articles that will appear online.
Nintendo know how to market a Mario game, so it seems almost useless to point out that they need to market one of the most recognizable gaming characters in history. The series has been going on for over two decades. I think they know what they are doing on this one.
Depends on the gamers you speak to. Hardcore DMC fans hate it, fair enough, but people outside of that group tended to see it as a great action title. The problem is, the vitriolic fanboys were the ones who people listened to.
This article would not exist if that were the case and the reason for that is because there isn't a history of men being marginalized the same way women have been across most forms of society throughout history. It also doesn't help that at one point (when Aiden meets a certain female character for the first time) immediately attempts to intimidate and threaten her until she proves herself worthy of him.
