Yeah because race cars oh so SHINY. Yes, very realistic. I haven't played the game, obviously, but from what I have seen so far the cars look like they are "pasted" on the screen. It just doesn't feel right. There are a few more things I noticed (mainly physics) but it doesn't really matter since the game is not even out yet.
It looks good, but the devs should shut up because the "GT HD Concept" from 2006 still looks better.
I have been re-playing mgs4 the last few days. The game is pure epic.

Someone doesn't know their math. So you are saying you download 5gb file in 20 min on a 2Mbit connection? So that's max speed of 250kB/sec 250kB/s * 1200sec = 300,000kBytes = 300MB

Started with kubuntu, have since moved to Arch Linux. It's a great KDE distro.
96% of notebooks sold with windows. They probably count me in that 96% but my notebook only saw windows for 2 days, before I formatted it to install Linux.
I highly doubt it would be free to play for gold members, hell it would be cheaper to just get live and play all the MMOs for free. I think non-paying live members would still get access to the MMOs though-- think FFXI.
When I played eqoa(ps2) back in the day I didn't buy a single ps2 game for 2003 it did cost $15/month but I saved money by not buying other games because the game kept me so busy.
back in 07 this site was filled with all the "sony is doomed" articles. People complained about the high price of the ps3, people asked sony to get rid of ps2 support to lower the price. Sony listened to the people, and now they are crying? Well.. should have bought a ps3 back in 07. I think they should spend more time developing new stuff, since 06 I have played 2 different ps2 games (ffxii and eqoa)on my ps3.

Correct me if I am wrong... but screen tearing, doesn't that happen when a game goes over 60fps? That's what I notice on PC anyway, always have to turn on v-sync (so it stays at a steady 60) otherwise I get screen tear.
And many people are talking about fps drops and slow downs. I just read the article and it doesn't mention that at all.
