This would make a lot of sense for a lot of reasons. It would also be nice insofar as that it would really allow for more time to be spent on the stories of these characters.

I always liked Vincent, though I never got into the the spinoff games he was a part of, and used him in my party for pretty much every playthrough. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle his combat abilities!

I'm still trying to get over how much the first trailer for this bad boy looked and played out almost exactly like an episode of Vikings haha. I mean it makes sense they'd be similar but before I saw the game title pop up I almost thought it was a show tie-in.

I imagine that being the bad guy in a Viking game would be inherently brutal. Even being the good guy in a Viking game is likely to be brutal. They're Vikings lol.

I feel like anything short of incredible is going to get lambasted after such a long wait and such a short time before the launch of the game.

One thing's for sure, if they say it has gameplay - it'll definitely want to have actual gameplay haha.

Of all the ME games, the first has definitely aged the worst - most noticeably the combat. I'd be ok with them retroactively applying either ME3 or Andromeda's combat into ME1 and ME2 if only to make it a more uniform experience for newcomers and to prepare them for whatever comes next for this series.

Sony was super smart about locking down Unreal 5 to show off the PS5 in that many folks will now associate that directly with the PS5 as if it was the only console capable of using it. It's ultimately a 3rd party engine that will be usable pretty much everywhere, but unless the storage speed of the PS5 is the kicker in that demo, the Series X will run it all the same.

It's particularly painful following Microsoft choosing to do a 3rd party showcase consisting mostly...

I need a significant increase in Jet Set Radio for the upcoming consoles!

This is good news in general, though. SEGA still has a lot of great IPs on hand and it's nice to see them doing well.

Haha I suppose the truth perhaps lies somewhere in the middle.

I never got a chance to play the original. I'll have to read a few reviews of this remaster to see about checking it out or sticking to the original maybe?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Lots of folks, of course, have as well haha.

I still have my FFVII copy, as well as my FFVIII, FFIX, etc. The PSOne is a bit beat up but it's still functional - managed to play Legend of Dragoon on it earlier this year!

Whether or not I liked this game it's not going to stop it from selling millions of copies. The next game will sell just as well. I just didn't enjoy it the same as others and had a different experi...

If I didn't have one, my girlfriend would have likely already killed me. Animal Crossing has become part of her routine now hahaha.

That's one of my biggest gripes with FF7R's marketing. They've done a pretty awful job explaining what Remake was before launch, and now what the series of games to come are to look like. I'd at the very least like to know how many games are going to make up this Remake. I feel like it's going to be three, but it could just as easily be two depending on how they tackle the next installment.

That's very much how I felt, NukeDaHippies.

Severe whiplash towards the end. Really felt like two different teams almost working against each other. Voice acting was amazing, though!

I'm a pretty awful liar, unfortunately.

However, if you enjoyed the game that's awesome!

That's dedication! Haha I couldn't do that myself, but that's awesome that you enjoyed it so much.

You'll probably enjoy it if you're having a good time to that point! Have fun with it!

I'm happy you enjoyed it! I know lots of folks who did. I just so happened to not be one of them haha. I'm not alone, but I'm not exactly standing among a number of folks either.

Redundant complaints only if they aren't your shared complaints, I suppose.

Also I'm not entirely sure why saying the waifu scenes occasionally making me uncomfortable is a bad thing. As much as I love watching some anime, and as much as I love my JRPGs, this game really leaned into that stuff in a way that was off putting to me - that's all.

Thanks for reading it, anyway! It's a slog even if it was content you enjoyed haha. It's by fa...

Fair enough! Appreciate you at least considering checking out the review.

Promise this isn't click bait. I run no ads on the site, and none on Youtube. I don't take free game copies, and as you can tell by other comments here, if I was chasing clout this isn't the way to go about it.

I simply didn't enjoy the game like others have which is apparently hard to believe despite doing my best to explain in great detail why I feel the way I do.

I get that everyone thinks every review that is counter the norm is click ...

It's ok if you don't like the review but I promise you it wasn't written to chase clicks. I don't run ads on Youtube (other than what Google places which I don't get paid for) or the website. I don't take free copies of games, either.

I'm not exactly going to gain anything by giving it a low review - no more than I would by giving it a higher review score. Believe it or not, some people can not like game that others love haha.
