I disagree, I thought that was a great feature, really enjoyed there different back stories and fighting styles.
I have been gaming for over 30 years, from doing my first flying kick in Double Dragon up to recently making army men into pulp in Prototype 2, and not once have I had the urge to physically hurt another human being/animal due to playing games, I have however used excessive amounts of bad language, mostly aimed at the spinning blade towers in God of War.
