They may as well, the 360 version looks great, so we know that the pc version will only be better. I would like to see some ps3 footage too.
Waiting on benchmarks from the pc version, need to upgrade my rig.
I have to agree with you. I'm totally pumped for this game, but it's got some massive shoes to fill. I'm currently playing Oblivion with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, and a bunch of other mods, and it's damn near a perfect game.
It's nice to see some mods from oblivion are in vanilla skyrim though.
agreed, and I agree that it sucks it's $60, at least we know we're getting a FULL game, and not one that is going to have $40 worth of DLC that is stuff that should have been in the game in the first place. With Bethesda's record, it seems that the DLC is really "expansion" and not "extortion". Minus any level cap stuff, although I'm understanding of things like Broken Steel, I haven't checked, but you can probably change the level cap on your computer ...
I understand the frustration in having to pay more, and that it leads to others following suit. But, after playing Oblivion, I'll gladly fork over 60 for this game to support the developers. Think of the amount of time this game will suck, then think of mods...
yes, the result is bloody glorious.
notice I didn't have a problem with the "mods" comment gcolley, now you're the one missing the point. Anyone in their right mind who has a pc that will run this game better than a ps3 will get it for the pc, especially if, they played oblivion on pc.
I think you're missing the point. The PC should be able to blow it away. I love my PS3, but my $800 dollar PC can kill my PS3, and I'm about to upgrade my VC and RAM for Skyrim.
I'm running a Radeon HD5830 right now, wondering if I should upgrade now or wait for benchmarks after the game is released.
Tad better?
What video card will run this maxed settings, at 1080p?
Bet these go for a pretty penny now.
edit* yep, just checked ebay, 400-500
Have they released recommended system specs yet?
You still need a large heatsink for the cpu?
That's funny you say that, because I bought SF4 (at a low price luckily) then they announced SSF4. I was pretty annoyed.
So, if I bought this game new, and got all the DLC, then what's this all going to cost me? I think from now on I'm just going to wait for goty editions and special editions. This is B.S. I'm guessing all these additional characters were ready to go day 1.
Anyone remember how stable msdos was? Yeah, that's why they haven't upgraded.
Really, there's a lot for them to work with for a revamp. I'm not talking completely redo the gameplay or anything. But maybe a new character and some tweaks to the game...combat..STEALTH..etc...
Some people are really sick of Ezio, I do like the idea of Altair, but let's just do something new.
Babies, you gonna be wearin' gold diapers!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOZ!
I also like the comment from Morganfell, "DON'T BUY 3/4 OF A GAME AT FULL PRICE."
The fights were pretty easy in brotherhood.
I remember in AC2 turning off the screen icons, (health and weapons select) and playing the game with just the map on screen because I never had to worry about dying in combat, same with brotherhood.
TBH though, I played a lot of all of them, so I'm pretty proficient.
