Drew is definitely a good writer with a strong voice, something very much lacking in Andromeda.
Surely that would be Faith from Mirrors Edge, or any of the characters from Gears 4.
Razzer, I get what you're saying but unfortunately I can't enlighten you as I'm not involved in that part of the site, sorry. However yes that is my 'take' on the game, not my full thoughts but a decent summary on how much I enjoyed it.
As a writer on the site I would just like to point at that a lot of our writers are new to the business of writing and no one here gets paid for the time and effort they put into their work. I do disagree with the review and in fact there is an alternative opinion on the site about why the game is great, written by me (shameless plug) that you might want to check out aswell.
I've played thirty hours so my complaints definitely don't only apply to the beginning. As I said Liam's loyalty mission is the standout in the game, it's the one spot where I found the comedy felt natural and relaxed. Spot on about Kadara, both Sloane and Reyes stand out as interesting characters and that story arch was great.
