I don't care what "Surfer Girl" thinks of Halo 3. I care what Gametrailers thinks of it. I care what GameSpot thinks of it. I do not care what "Ultra Games OK GO online" has to say about it. I don't know those writers, neither do I want to.
I would also have liked to not having to scroll through fan-made "news". That's an other thing entirely, though. Not a big issue either.

But this is not anything new, and its certainly not a freaking news story! This has been used since the first savegame in a game ever. Saving information to a file, I mean. Many games "save debris and corpse locations OMG!!".

..it set the standard. Just about every FPS has borrowed components from Halo since 2001. Halo kind of defined controls, physics, weapons - just about everything.
Now, since they didnt change it radically with Halo 3 (thank god) the game is very much like what we've seen before.

I got all worked up about Forge, and thought it would be great for the longevity of the game. It is great the way it is, but there are just some very weird choices they made to its limitations that makes the possibilities narrow down to pretty much whats there already. I mean, you cant make a castle of boxes, since you can only have 10 boxes for some reason. Too many restrictions.
Also, there should be a custom-game-search. I cant imagine why they scratched it off as a thing th...
