I loved the Doom closed beta. It was such a refreshing game, it's not trying to be like every other shooter. It's feels new but stays true to the original game. I can't wait for the open beta, I want to play more!
I am so exhausted by the futuristic setting. I understand the need to make sequels new and different by implementing different mechanics but it doesn't always work and that's heavily dependent on the developer. I would love to see COD go back to WWII.
I too have mixed feelings. The first game didn't do enought for me to want a second one. I know they are working on including a campaign but I'd also have to see some better development in multiplayer. For me the game was just flat. I'd say I'd give it another shot with Titanfall 2 but as of right now I don't really think it NEEDS a sequel.
I played this game and thought it was wonderful. It was a bit slower than I am used to but I think I went through it too fast. I did enjoy the story though!
So many good games... I'm curious what kids nowadays consider "retro"
Interesting article. I'm sort of feeling the same way about VR, I love the new tech and early adopters who are willing to spend the money will have a good time with it but I can't afford one so I'm hoping the price points on future vr tech will be more in line with console prices.
I really wish I was still good at Gears!
Great tips, I'm going to have to hand this over to my team.
totally! I still haven't finished all my quest lines, the hard mode for the raid comes out next week that's gonna be rough.
I'll be honest, Destiny year one was boring. It was the skeleton of a game and while I played it, it was never something I felt like I wanted to drop all my time into. The Taken King however is the complete opposite, there is an abundance of things to do, there's a story, there's reasons that make me go in and play the game everyday for 4-6 hours. It's such a stark difference in the two you almost can't compare them. TTK is worth playing.
I'm not much of a horror player but I've seen some FNAF streams and that's probably the game I'd pick up.
I had a good time with the game, it was fun. The graphics are beautiful but as the article says the gameplay just fell a little short. I'm hopeful DICE can work that out but it felt like Star Wars and that's really important for the success of this game.
I never got into the Skylanders toys of Amiibo, gaming for me is already expensive I don't want to spend more on figures I need in order to play a game. What interests me though is the want to just collect them. I know people who don't have them for the game but have them just to have. The resell value on some of the Amiibo is through the roof!
It was a matter of time, it's just nice to see that the investment is there and it'll be an excellent platform for those who are interested in betting on esports.
yeah, agreed its only like 4 things but at least it isn't overpriced
so much this! I already know some people who have bought 3 of them because they're cheap
I'm assuming it will fit any iOS and Android device, they may release a device list later, not sure. ugh!
I'm pretty excited to play this. I am currently replaying Wolfenstein: The New Order, its such a great game. Hopefully this will be just as good.
I put hours into this game only to be devoured by "deez nuts" ... I love it
Nice article, I've been looking for some games to fill my time until Doom releases. I did play Rise of the Tomb Raider though, I highly suggest yall pick that up!
