If your friend works at Gamestop, why not ask him to get you a beta code lol. Or preorder from Gamestop, get the beta code, then cancel your preorder lol
That's pretty awesome
315 Australian dollars = 264.72600 U.S. dollars (Using Google to convert lol)
And just cause it mentions $699
699 Australian dollars = 587.4396 U.S. dollars

I agree, 150 is too much to repair for the YLOD now considering for 150 more, you can get yourself a Slim...I hope repair costs drop since after experiencing the YLOD the first time after 2 years (Jan07->May09) I'm kind of worried about my PS3 still lol
Yea you're right, I just checked manually lol (Searching Nvidia gave me no hits, but searching Batman did)

Weird the duplicate story detector didn't pick it up. Ah well I'll go post on the forum to get this removed. Sorry :3
Yea games are pretty high there too, I believe if I have my info correctly, they get their prices from SCEE, pretty much AU console owners are usually getting shafted when it comes to prices on games, consoles, and now even repairs.
Thanks!
Well if Qore is the only way to get into the September beta, I wouldn't mind taking your key off your hands since I didn't renew my Qore subscription. (Was one of the original subscribers and after seeing the uninteresting content with information I already know about, and bonus items only being themes, it wasn't enough to draw me back in, even for the discounted $20 lol)
Thanks/bubbles if you do end up saying yes :3 and also thanks/bubbles for offering to give it away as well.
Yea that was a close one lol, good to see you up there for this month :D
"Ever since Sony has announced the playstation 3 slim model to be released next month at the price of 300 dollars and other remaining sku's are priced at 300 bucks."
Did anyone else's head hurt after trying to read this sentence? lol
Customer: "Can I see your ID please?"
Verizon Worker: "SURE-YOU-CAN!"
*KO!*
Maybe one of the resident 360 fanboys at n4g snuck into the offices at PC World and wrote this lol
Yea lets bundle a game that's been out since Christmas 2008 versus a game that's coming out next month in Japan...makes perfect sense...
lol No_NaMe needs to troll harder
HDMI cables are like $5 from monoprice. Not expensive at all.
My TV is 720p (didn't bother for 1080p for 32") but I don't see why it couldn't produce a 1080p signal whether it be native or upscaled.
"In fact, they don't even ship with component cables either, just some SD composite cables"
It DOESN'T come with component cables.
ONLY composite cables.
http://www.monoprice.com/ho... is everyone's best friend for HDMI cables. I bought two. One for my PS3, and one for my 360. Works great, only costed me like $5 too :D
HDMI vs Composite
720p/1080p vs 480i
Gee I don't know...
Please report this as a duplicate so it can go poof :3 Filter didn't catch it for some reason D:
Well I searched Start PS3 and I had no trouble finding PS3 hardware problems the author was referring too, though I do think he was over exaggerating when he said "shows just how unreliable the PlayStation 3 is" lol
