Either way it's a must have title on either platform IMO.
I don't quite agree with you fully. The single player game will probably be forgotten before long, but the multiplayer for R:FOM is the most intense thing that I have played in a while. So I half agree with you, but you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. Game on.
Where did you see that the 360 version was online enabled. Everything that I have read to date has AM2 saying that VF5 will not be online on any platform. Please provide a link to this information.
I bought the PS3 at this time to play RFOM, so I guess it is a system seller. It's all a matter of personal taste. I loved GOW a lot, more so than RFOM. The fact still remains that several friends and myself bought a PS3 for that game alone. I think it will be a great franchise down the road.
VF4 EVO was my favorite fighter of the last generation. It rocks that more people will get to play the fantastic series that is Virtua Fighter. I own the PS3, 360, and Wii consoles, but I will probably buy the PS3 version of the game. Not because it will be any better, but because I am so used to playing this game with Sony's controller. Great news for everyone though.
I agree one hundred %.
I just beat the three headed plant thing in the first dungeon and so far the game rocks hard. Took me a while, because I refuse to use the hint guide. Zelda TP ties GOW, Resistance Fall Of Man ,and FF 12 for my top games of the year.
I love the Virtual Fighter series more than any other fighter ought there. IMO the only competition for it is Street Fighter II Hyper Edition as far as skill is concerned. It’s a fighter that will test your reflexes and memory to there limits. The graphics look absolutely magnificent and mirror the game play as far as quality is concerned perfectly now. This will be the first must have game for me on the PS3.
These people are complete idiots. How can a successful attach rate hurt a game console. To this one I have to shout a big WTF!!!
I think that is a PS3 screen shot, just not HD. On the 1up show they showed the difference in the graphics for Ridge Racer 7 on a normal TV VS a high definition TV. The screen shots here for the PS3 look like the standard definition pics from that web cast. Check it out.

If you are talking about me, your statement is the kind of closed minded way of thinking that I am discussing above. If you were talking about that A$$ Nolan Bushnell good for you and I am sorry.
I love all gaming. I have loved it since 1986 when the original Nintendo Entertainment System was released. HeII I loved it back in the Atari days when I was playing Yars Revenge. So it pains me so when a bitter A$$ old man like this starts sh***ing on Sony. And before anyone starts calling me a fanboy go back and read some of my post on this sight. I support all systems. HeII I love all gaming. I don’t think that I have stated a single negative thing about any of the systems past,...
Nintendo should make a commercial for the Wii where the crows that came form the eggs get shot down with the Wiimote. You could even have that old dog behind the grass. That would rock. Just like Duckhunt.
I have been a Sony fan since the PS1 days. I got one on day one with a copy of Ridge Racer and I was in heaven. Then came the PS2 with all of its majesty. Again I was there on day one with a copy of Warhawk and Twisted Metal and I was in heaven all over again. I didn't bother with the original Xbox because I hated Microsoft at the time. Then a friend of mine brought over Ninja Gaden for his Xbox and I had a blast. This time around I bought an Xbox 360 about six months after it's release...
Earthworm Jim so deserves a sequel.
I waited six months before I got my 360 and I will wait six months for my PS3. The system is going to rock, just like my 360 rocks. I think I am addicted to F.E.A.R. I just can't stop playing it. Anyhow. The PS3 will be an amazing system with some must have exclusives for me. I will be in gaming heaven when I have both systems. Game on forever, and stop the hate. Please!
I love the Playstation brand, but that was the dumbest ad that I have ever seen!
About a year ago I had a party at my house and got really messed up. When I woke up the next day I found myself on top of my PS2. When I moved I noticed that I had gotten sick on top of my PS2. Anyway after I cleaned up my PS2 and booted it up, I noticed that my rumble didn't work anymore. It drove me crazy for weeks, but now I don't even notice it anymore. So it's not a big deal to me that the PS3 doesn't have rumble.
In particular the weather effects look amazing to me. The sense of speed is also very well done. I will be paying some attention to this game as it gets closer to release.
Two reasons. 1. No other game type test your memory and reflexes like a good fighting game. 2. Many people like the one on one competition of a good fighter. You can invite a couple of friends over and see who is the king of the game. My friends and I have had all weekend long tournaments with Virtua Fighter4 EVO on several occasions. Although that's just my opinion on the subject.
