Why not? One is FPS other action adventure, two different genres. GOW is already established IP, no worries there. It only needs to be EPIC and it is going to sell units.
ZOE 3 is already in works, for PS3. It uses same tech(engine, etc) as MGS4, that way they will recoup(and on future projects) money that they invested in MGS4.
ZOE3 will be revealed this year, but they dont want it to take any attention away from MGS4.
