I think MGS4 will sell great but will it beat sales of MGS1 and MGS2 which were around 7 million each? Not sure about that.But aroun 6 million i think it is very possible.
The reason why MGs3 didnt sell well was because many were disappointed with MGS2 and the way fans were tricked to play with raiden + pirating on PS2 at that point exploaded and most of folks i knew already moded thier PS2. But that cant happen to MGS4, it doesnt have to fear piracy which is not possible at the moment...
