2 buttons control scheme? Never played a Wii have you? The Wii remote itself has more than 2 buttons and thats not even attaching the Nunchuk. People might take you kids a little more seriously if you actually acted like you knew what you were talking about.

For someone that visits gaming sites you are pretty clueless. Wii has a the second highest attach rate and half the million sellers on Wii are 3rd party. If you really think the Wii is doing that bad you must be pissed about the PS3, because the Wii is kicking its ass in every way.

Well isnt that a little unfair. Halo has been out for months and so has Wii fit in some areas. LEts see how it does compared to them after 6 months.

You dont make up a 6-7 million loss in 1 year selling around the same number as the competition. 20k a month and you think it can make up 7 million in a year? Every time I have seen a bundle sold it was to someone that already owned a PS3. Sadly they'll line up over and over again. Really means nothing. It will just hurt the attach rate more when PS3 owners buy 2 but only games for 1.
Yeah companies are doomed if they focus on motion controls. Just look at Nintendo. cant keep the units in stock and now have the fastest selling console in history... I guess you must have gotten those numbers from Gamepro. Let me tell you a little secret. They posted the numbers wrong. 360 has more users in both age groups and PS3 gets th least play time out of any next gen console. That includes the Wii. Go look on IGN for the original article where they show the real numbers that GP wouldnt post.
How is the Wii not in direct competition with Sony or MS? All are out to sale consoles, all are selling similar types of games. The only way the Wii isnt competing with Sony and MS was in the area of graphics. That hardly means the console is not competing with the other consoles for market share.

More RE games have been on Wii this gen then PS3 or 360 and not one of them was a mini game. Not really sure where you dig up your info from, but its a very unreliable place obviously.

I wouldnt exactly call the single player short. Most of the puzzles in the game are there and it has around 300.
Not really MK Red. Having a banner ad is nothing like real TV advertising. Not just some video you find online. I have yet to see any Wii game that got the same level of TV time as Madden,Guitar Hero,Mario Kart, SSBB, so on fail. I have yet to see any TV ads for it so if it does indeed have some type of TV marketing the budget is very small.
RE4 Wii edition sold better on Wii than PS2 when you figure in the 15 million Wii install base at the time versus the 75 million install base of PS2 at the time.Same thing for Okami. When you look at the Wii install base and PS2 install base, these games are having better Wii sales.
When you consider how much more powerful the PS3 and 360 are compared to Wii, its not hard to see them getting lower scores. Thats natural and should be expected. What is unexpected, to me anyway is how a couple of Wii games have actually managed better reviews then their PS3/360 counter parts.Not many mind you but it shouldnt be happening at all.
WEll I have a PC so no reason to have a PS3. I just wasnt impressed with their taking alst gen games changing the lead role and releasing a rehashed game while calling it a new IP. HS,DF, and WH all proved this. SO yeah I sold my PS3 and went and got Wii fit,Boom Blox, NMH. Sadly it was the only time my PS3 offered any kind of next gen experience. Selling it to buy Wii games.. Oh and I did get Mass Effect for PC. Some people are happy with hardware that doesnt deliver whats promised or medioc...
Not hard to understand why Wii is last so far. When only Nintendo was ready with quality games at launch. Of course just like the PS2 they have some good games. Most hater 12-17 year olds though will simple claim every game is crap. IF that were really true though I wouldnt have sold my PS3 to buy more Wii games

I dont see anyone crying about this when it happens to other consoles. What about late PS2 owners? What about late GC owners? Really its time to grow up and understand that you cant cry about one company doing it when you have no problem with other companies doing it. I'll never own a MS console but I am not so bias as to hate them for the same thing Sony and Nintendo are doing.
