Could be much worse imo, could be like a repeat of E3 last year where is showed about 15 minutes of games then over an hour of the Kinect launch stuff and the slim 360 shoe-horned in at the end.
"the game gives the leader to the highest leveled people." [In CTL.]
This very well may be incorrect, btw.
The other night I played about 12 straight CTL matches and I got to be the leader at least once in every match, quite a few times it was in the first round and there were definitely guys in there of a higher rank than me.
You could use a US PSN account to download it then play it on your EU account.
"it can live in the company of the best first person shooters on the Wii"
When the full quote is said, I think he's probably right.
When the abridged quote is said, it's just sensationalist crap to draw people in and create some easy hype.
Am I the only one missing this "absurd" price?
All standard edition games that you can preorder this early are £45 RRP.
This is then lowered to closer to £38-£40 within a few months of launch.
So was the site just completely unsure of UK pricing or what?
@Retron
Are you even from the UK?
Maybe you're working in Euros or something else?
If you're not, I think you need to find a new shop ;)
HMV charge £40, just like the rest of the big media retailers. (Point in case, Crysis 2 which is out today: http://bit.ly/fSpyY9 )(Supermarkets have even been going as low as £30 in their price wars.)
I think the ...
"THQ are offering a free ear-raping."
FTFY.
These covers are bloody awful.
They've taken some great songs and taken away the greatness and re-inserted all that angsty, screamy crap.
(Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy death metal and all that sort of stuff but this is the screaming crap where it falls short of sounding like death metal screams and instead sounds like a pre-pubescent boy's screams.)
Now, I ne...
I give it less than 12 hours and that count starts at midnight.
Little disappointed but overall I suppose it saves me money and I still get what looks to be a great game.
The UK got a collector's edition.
By collector's edition they meant, you pay an extra £10 and get a shiny slip-cover and the War Horse, golden guns and an outfit.
My ABP blocked all the ads but the audio for one was getting through.
Really annoying when you're trying to read and all of a sudden a voice from nowhere asks if you're constipated.
Looks interesting, if it's not on the UK store I'll have to get a US card for it.
I've noticed that on all the US unboxings I've seen.
I'm in Scotland and all of it was really, really well packaged.
There was a space cut for the figure to be secured in, the helmet was held in perfectly fine and the art book and game were already neatly inside the helmet. (Also got a steel case rather than plastic.)
Don't know about any other regions but I don't know why UK/EU and US varied quite so much on this. (Before it's...
How about The Graveyard by Tale of Tales?
"This has nothing to do with "having my feelings hurt""
Sorry but I'm getting that same vibe throughout the whole article of it's just you upset about that someone dares ridicule CoD in such a brazen fashion.
To be honest, it just sounds like a CoD fanboy that can't spot that People Can Fly are just having a laugh and missing this humour, you rush to defend your beloved CoD by making a petty argument that, "People Can Fly ...
I'm Scottish and recognise most of our regional accents, I thought he was from South Africa.
Black Ops and NBA 2K11?
Haha, funny, Kotaku.
Now where's the real list of nominees?
ME2 and RDR deserve a place on the list, but are they seriously saying something like New Vegas for example, (even with the plethora of bugs/glitches), is less deserving than a basketball game that comes out every freaking year?
"Oh, but this time you can dribble with even more precision and you can practically see every bump on the ball!"
Co-op: Definite yes, that would be great.
Some form of competitive multiplayer: No. Just no. I don't even want to hear the same excuses Ubisoft used for AC Brotherhood when it should have remained a single player game, just remove any idea of multiplayer from your collective minds and slap the person that thought of it.
Too many games, not enough time.
I finish as many as I can, but I've still got a bundle of ones I have to play and that I actually do want to play.
That's not even mentioning Steam and GfWL, Hell, I've got about 73 games on Steam and I've not even installed some of them since I bought them last Christmas during the sale because I don't have enough time for them all.
I think what it is, is that I see a game that's cheap and I bu...
For Comic Jumper, might want to mention that besides the difficulty curve what is pretty off-putting, (at least in my eyes), is the horribly spaced-out checkpoints; the dull & *extremely* repetitive missions and the way that you spend loads of credits upgrading your stuff & then it's pointless anyway because the enemies just seem to raise their stats to match yours.
Really, all this stuff adds up to be horrible.
What it basically consists of is: Several lo...
