That character looks a lot like Sepheroth. That sword my have been his before it was Zacks or clouds. Same grey hair. And the bloody book. I think Sony does this on purpose. They have a huge number of titles, both exclusive and non that being listed to come out with in the year. I think if square-enix had FFXIII ready by now for the PS3 we wouldn't see PS3 sales as low as they are now. Sony has yet to have an RPG that pulls customers to buy the PS3. I dislike going to the GameStop since it changed form Electronic Boutique. The atmosphere has changed to the point to where I usually get a negative comment when I buy a PS3 title. So I hate going there. I do go to Wal-Mart but there are always so busy and then you have the kids with spaghetti sauce still on their face banging on the glass at the Wii game. I actually went to Target and got 3/4 of the way to the electronic section and an employee popped out and actually asked if I needed help....
I hope they start advertising sometime between now and the end of the year each individual game advertisement would be nice but if not maybe the several games in one advertisment before and after the year. I wonder if Sony has purposely cut back on advertisement to focus their budget on the games. Until they are financialy stable.
I'm just going to throw this out there. But it does look kind of like a less populated version of FFXI. One because of game play and two it looks as though it could be multiplayer. That would be awesome but doubt it. Can't wait either way.
I had bought my Xbox360 from a pawn shop. a 20gig for $305.00. Feels like a rip off now. haven't had the red ring of death yet but have had games freeze and the sucker is pretty loud. I bought my PS3 this past late August an it's pretty quiet as hell and have had no problems thus far. I still have my 1st and only PS2 for whenever. My brother still has his PS2 and a PS3 and has said he's blown his 360 and GameCube (weird). I have the original Xbox and that's quieter than the 360.
I think it's too soon to determine. Usually Japan posts first day sales Monday of the next week. LBP just got released yesturday. I don't think that's enough fair time to calculate accurate figures. I believe next week LBP will have more sales than this week combined.
If I'm correct, this week Japan only has numbers for LBP for 3 days. 30k now if they can have for all 3 days maybe they can reach 90k. Maybe this can become one of those games that get better in sales as weeks go by instead worse. Hope for the best I guess. World Wide numbers should get better and I think Europe/others may lead the sales.
Yeah family does kind of get in the way. I've been married for almost 6 months and have a child coming soon and I'm found having less and less time to play games. I work at 7 in the morning. The market is struggling I guess. And Japan is just at a loss even the Wii is selling less there than it is in Europe or North America. I don't know personally it doesn't affect me. I probably won't buy a game for the rest of the year because I have enough to keep me busy and a Baby in December my attention will be elsewhere. But for others on top of that it's an Election year and people are all hyped up about that. Only positive deal is gas is down to $2.65 a gallon where I live. Hopefully 2...

Sony has a great product out there for many reasons. It's so close to being one of the cheapest PC's you can find if it had the capability to print via USB Sony brand printer. But you can play games, surf online, listen to music, upload and share photos, socialize with people and watch movies in the highest quality all for a few hundred dollars less than an actual computer.
