I'd say only in GT6 will the Granturismo Franchise go from PURE simulator (no crashing or crap like that) to a natural blend between simulator and realistic crashes (from crash physics to parts flying off, wheels coming off, etc)
I assure you when GT6 comes out (PS4 maybe!? maybe not?! ) we'll see cars wil the same physics engine, but with the ability to flip over, parts fly off, wheels fly off, bumpers move when hit, etc...
but that sh!t takes time, ...

Played over 20 hours so far, had 1 crash because I played around with mods / graphics.
only big glitch has been a special companion disappearing, but a quick command prompt fixed it.
loveing it, its SO HUGE. its insane. probably the biggest non-online RPG i've ever played (in terms of content) and I've played both oblivion and morrowind (most of it) as well as FO3 and Baldurs Gate II , and I have to say, this game is giant.

No crashes as of yet, 20 hours in, only a few glitches which can be fixed either by reseting save or using console command
