i understand this, but I doubt its going to get so out of hand the PS3 will be abandoned instantly
there are two extremes here:
people saying "bah this doesn't matter this isn't news!" > it IS important and it matters
people saying "this is it, PS3 is doomed Sony will abort it all and release PS4 next year" > no, thats unrealistic, firstly this whole hacking stuff will be subdued due to the law and firmware u...
if you think all that you listed will happen because of piracy, you need to get your head right and consider a few things:
piracy already exists on 360 and the Wii....devs still develop for it.
firmware updates and patches constantly...oh the humanity please stop this horror/s
developers won't bother developing exclusively anymore? sony has 20 in house studios, they develop games regardless of sales drops or not, because they are ultimate...
