i got back into halo last week after not playing it for a month all i have to say is 343i you did good. they took my biggest problems with the game and have improved it. spartan ops is no longer a POS and is quite enjoyable due to new areas and community maps are awesome now bring back a classic version of slayer without ordnance and with set weapon spawns and ill be happy

software sales totally depend on what game it is for example cod sells much more on xbox then ps3 due to xbox leading in USA but ps3 sells much more of titles that appeal to rpg/story fans also games that have had a japanese cult following sell alot more ps3 i.e DMC overall in the end the list would be skewed due to the fact that bundled games also count towards software figures but digital ones do not
one can only hope for this to exist as a real game well untill nintendo realises how much money they will make :)
Yea like it takes a very long time for the technology to become affordable and mainstream.
microsoft are usually first to do things except they don't do it practical and affordable. i.e they had tablets in 2000 but they were expensive and the os was not engineered for tablets. apple is just good at taking other peoples tech and making it mainstream. i assume that this is on N4G because a lot of the tech will eventually find its way into gaming.
Good points but as a happy owner of a windows phone i can tell you xbox live was just sprinkles on the iceing of the cake windows phone just needs more awareness its fantastic

LOL theres no way micrsoft will release it next year sure maybe a spin off halo game but it takes 2 years minimum to produce a quality game the calibre of halo. But maybe a side story done by some other team that's not 343 might be ther for the launch of the next xbox
The reason i feel that micrsoft havn't tried again is because a halo game makes way more money then a halo movie could unless it was as big as avatar or something while a movie would have higher cost of production and greater risk due to the fact that a halo game is sure to sell while a movie might not also a bad movie could impact badly on the overall quality associated with the franchise. If they are going to do the movie please get peter jackson to do it :)
Hey guys i want you to do something for me go to metacritic and look at the reviews most of then are above 90 almost all are above 80 and there is one 20. the thing is metacritic has lost credibility it should omit out of place reviews that seem to not represent the universal point. because frankly halo 4 is not a 1 outta 5 game.
I have one tiny question is there any guarantee the game people fund will actually be made and released?

Will all of its power be use yes but games will still look better every year. Halo 3 uses everything the xbox has and anyone thats played halo 3 & 4 knows how much of an improvement is possible on a game that is fully maxed out.
halo 4 mp is great its not perfect but i think currently its the best mp out there :) theres a few things i would like changed though like instant respawns are cool but they should not be in 4v4 slayer they work well in other game modes though. and there needs to be a free for all game mode

Simply put if u owe an xbox u owe it to yourself to buy halo 4 if not i dont think you should even bother to buy blops 2
SSD's are built these days to replenish their cells. they now have higher life capacity but i would prefer a cross hybrid of HDD nd SSD where only certain game data is ported to SSD when u play that game.
Im implying that people will play something familiar until something better comes along. since everything trys to be like call of duty people call it a cod clone and just play the main stream version which is cod. To beat cod you need something different.
I get the whole if we are gonna charge for online we will charge everyone for it so the online experience is not fragmented but MS seriously needs to add value to xbl i want features no ther platform offers for free with it. nothing matches xbl in terms of quality and ease of use but its not 60 bux worth of quality im ok with paying for xbl as long as it has as much value as it used to compared to the other online services.
