It's nice to see Nintendo getting shit on lately, if they would of released a Switch pro, this wouldn't be as big of a deal but 720p 30fps isn't acceptable in 2021. Not to mention Nintendo's archaic online.
I'm sure Demon's Souls could run on ps4 at 1080p 30fps with downgraded textures.
I have a feeling it's going to be a pretty boring game.
Can't really blame Bethesda or Todd Howard for Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas running bad on the ps3, the Cell processor was difficult to work with and Sony made the bad mistake of splitting 512mb ram. I still don't know why Sony thought that was a good idea.
Sony straight up lied saying GT7 would be PS5 exclusive. What bothers me the most of all this bad news is Playstation Studios games are likely coming to PC 2 years after releasing on Playstation, which I believe is a mistake, potentially a big mistake.
@VerminSC God of War Ragnarok could use the same ps4 pro visuals as the last game with the 60fps boost of the PS5 and it would still be a Banger GOTY contender. People need to seriously stop thinking ps4 is holding PS5 back as much as they do. You will get 4k 60fps with better effects textures, and fast loading.
It's wonderful owning a PS5.
June 8th Guilty Gear Strive
June 9th Genshin Impact 1.6 update
June 10th PS5 upgrade of FF7 remake plus Yuffie episode
June 11th Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Keep Cyberpunk off the Playstation store until they release the PS5 version and it is QA tested by Sony
Expect 1440p at 30fps for BOTW 2 at best on the Nintendo Switch Advanced. ( My name guess for it)
Yeah, Astrobot is a free game for PS5 owners, meanwhile Odyssey was $60 at launch and still is usually priced high
Biomutant scored pretty well, playing the ps4 version too most likely
I can't wait to see all the games that are not going to come out for 2, 3, 4 and 5 years from now. I hope Halo looks a lot better than what was shown previously.
You loved Horizon but don't want a sequel. Dude Horizon Forbidden West at 60fps with the PS5's ssd will just make the sequel even better than the first. The first Horizon set the bar high for graphics and HDR, and I can't wait to see would Guerilla does with the sequel.
Even tho it's not that big of a deal because its single player only games, it still bothers me the series x gets 120 fps and PS5 doesn't
I know, super fast ssd and i/o vs old hdd, slow news day
This is going to sound super salty but if Sony had no input in the gamepass day one deal, then they should gimp the series X version, give them the base Xbox One version, running at probably 900p on all Xbox consoles. Petty I know
Temper your expectaions, this is Housemarque's first triple a game, i'm expecting low 70's metacritic based on what i have seen.
Way better than Bethesda, at a fraction of the price
Ultimate is $15 a month but yeah it does suck paying $60
The PS5 specs and online infrastructure is miles better now, a 14 year tech gap. PS Home could be something special if Sony put the resources into it.
